FIMEC Technologies developed a multi-axis robotic island equipped with a multifunction gripper that has been awarded "Productivez !" 2014. This unit is assigned to sorting, finishing and palletizing of concrete kerbstones. It manages eight workstations, including unpalletizing/palletizing operations, localization and removal of non-compliant products, pallet changing ... Autonomous, it provides dimensional control and border compliance check. This unit is easy to use with an ergonomic and intuitive interface.

PACKTRIS

Patented in 2012 by FIMEC Technologies, Packtris is a robotized system which enables to palletize multi-sized parcels without any control of supply order upstream.

A specially developed heuristic algorithm tells the robot whic parcels has to be selected; then it precisely position and orientate the parcel on the pallet.

Working conditions are improved, loading densities are optimized and productivity is increased.

Packtris was designed for a use in order picking warehouses as well as sorting centers.
