This unit is assigned to sorting, finishing and palletizing of concrete kerbstones. It manages eight workstations, including unpalletizing/palletizing operations, localization and removal of non-compliant products, pallet changing ... Patented in 2012 by FIMEC Technologies, Packtris is a robotized system which enables to palletize multi-sized parcels without any control of supply order upstream.

A specially developed heuristic algorithm tells the robot whic parcels has to be selected; then it precisely position and orientate the parcel on the pallet.

Working conditions are improved, loading densities are optimized and productivity is increased.

Packtris was designed for a use in order picking warehouses as well as sorting centers.
