EXPERTISE Friction stir welding (FSW). The FSW is interesting for aluminum welding. This process allows: - The realization of stiffened panels cheaper and lighter from aluminum profile - The faultless welding of molded parts - The reduction of rough machining - The replacement of MIG welding or riveting - A 100% waterproof solder  for the manufacture of cold plates for example. Previously the FSW process was relatively expensive because it recquired large equipment. We have developed a head which, by mounting on a CNC machine tool, allows all the possibilities of a FSW machine at a lower cost
