NOTUS hexapod motion simulator

SYMETRIE launched NOTUS, a dynamic and compact hexapod for motion simulation.

Compact and dynamic

NOTUS is a dynamic hexapod, which enables to generate motions following the 6 degrees of freedom with a speed of 500 mm/s. Thanks to its optimized design, this compact hexapod is only 1 meter tall. NOTUS hexapod has been designed to test and qualify medium weight payloads (up to 200 kg), which will then be installed on aircrafts, boats or land vehicles. Due to its size and its capacity, NOTUS hexapod is very suitable to test components in laboratories.

An ergonomic and intuitive software

The control of the hexapod is facilitated by control software developed by SYMETRIE control. It allows to play files from registration or generate trajectories.

NanoPos : miniature Hexapod

SYMETRIE has launched NanoPos, a nanometer resolution positioning hexapod developed for the most demanding applications, such as optics or nanotechnologies.

Outstanding resolution and compact size

NanoPos hexapod comes with outstanding characteristics for its small size thanks to the integration of extremely compact piezo stages, high quality joints and low friction mechanical parts. Its closed loop control with linear optical encoders enables it to reach the highest precision performances.

An ergonomic and intuitive control

The hexapod comes with its controller and an ergonomic software program developed by SYMETRIE, which enables to quickly learn how to use it and to easily configure the rotation centre.
